Megaworld Foundation Scholarship offers full tuition, allowances, and career opportunities

Qualified college students may receive full tuition fee coverage plus a monthly allowance through the Megaworld Foundation Scholarship Program, providing comprehensive financial assistance to help Filipino youth complete their college education.

The program is open to eligible students enrolled in any of Megaworld Foundation’s 76 partner schools across Metro Manila and several provinces, subject to eligibility requirements and the foundation’s application and interview process.

The Megaworld Foundation Scholarship Program is administered by Megaworld Foundation, Inc., the corporate social responsibility arm of Megaworld Corporation. For more than two decades, it has supported the belief that providing Filipino youth with quality education helps uplift families and build communities.

What is the Megaworld Foundation Scholarship?

The Megaworld Foundation Scholarship is a full-support financial assistance program for Filipino college students. To date, the foundation supports 1,000 scholars across 76 partner schools in Metro Manila and several provinces.

The program covers eligible students who are:

• Incoming freshmen entering college for the first time, or
• Currently enrolled sophomores and juniors at a Megaworld Foundation partner school

Scholars are provided support throughout their studies and are assisted toward career opportunities within Megaworld, its subsidiaries, and affiliates after graduation.

Megaworld Foundation Scholarship Benefits

Qualified scholars receive the following support package:

• Full Tuition Fee – covered for the duration of the scholar’s course
• Allowance – disbursed through a Megaworld Foundation-issued ATM card
• Volunteerism Activities and Seminars – scholars take part in charitable activities and workshops that instill a “pay it forward” culture and support their holistic growth
• Career Opportunities – scholars are assisted toward promising career placements in Megaworld, its subsidiaries, and affiliates after they finish their studies

Who can apply for the Megaworld Foundation Scholarship?

According to the foundation’s initial qualifications, an applicant must meet the following conditions:

• Must be a resident near any Megaworld township or project.
• The combined gross annual income of the applicant’s parents must not exceed ₱400,000.
• Must have a general average of at least 85% or its equivalent, with at least 85% in all subjects.
• The course enrolled in must be part of the list of accepted courses, at one of Megaworld Foundation’s partner schools.

Meeting these initial qualifications does not automatically guarantee a slot, as applications proceed through document review and an interview process before scholars are selected.

Megaworld Foundation Scholarship Requirements

Requirements are divided into general requirements and year-level-specific academic requirements. Note that the online application requires clear scanned copies of the documents below, and applicants should also secure the physical documents, as these will be submitted at a later stage.

General Requirements:

1. Current Registration or Enrollment Form
2. Complete Report of Grades
3. Barangay Certificate of Residency (applicant)
4. Proof of Parents’ Financial Ability (one-month payslip or ITR, Certificate of Compensation, or Certificate of Indigency)
5. Birth Certificate
6. House Photos
7. Photograph of applicant with family or guardian
8. Latest utility bills (e.g., electricity, water)
9. Official School ID

For incoming freshmen (academic requirements):

1. Complete copy of the final grade report in senior high school, with an average of at least 85% or its equivalent, and at least 80% in all subjects.
2. A passing result from a university entrance exam, letter of admission, certificate of enrollment, or registration form.
3. A certificate of upper 10% class ranking of the graduating batch, if available.

For incoming sophomores and juniors (academic requirements):

1. All grade reports from previous semesters up to the current semester, with a GPA of at least 85% or its equivalent, and at least 80% in all subjects.
2. A full-load enrollment assessment or registration form with class schedule.
3. Complete and most updated course curriculum.

Initial application requirements (to prepare before answering the application form):

1. One-month payslip, for parent/s with work
2. Barangay Certificate of Indigency, for parent/s with no work
3. Utility bills such as rent, electricity, water, telephone, or internet
4. Complete copy of grades, compiled in one document (based on year-level requirements above)
5. Certificate of Enrollment or Registration Form
6. Photograph of applicant with family or guardian

Applications with incomplete details or requirements will not be processed. Upon submission of the above, applicants will be asked to fill out additional documents and undergo an interview to further assess their qualifications.
