The SM College Scholarship 2026 is now open for qualified students who wish to pursue higher education.
The SM Foundation was established by Mr. Henry Sy, Sr. and Mrs. Felicidad T. Sy in 1983, guided by the principle of People Helping People. Through its education programs, the foundation continues to support deserving students by providing financial assistance to help them finish college and achieve their career goals.
The SM Scholarship Program has been helping Filipino students for many years, especially those who have good academic performance but face financial challenges in pursuing higher education.

SM College Scholarship provides financial assistance to incoming college students who will take any of the following courses:

- BSBA in Management Accounting
- BS in Civil Engineering
- BS in Computer Engineering
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering/ BS In Electronics Engineering/ BS Electronics Engineering
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- BS in Computer Science
- BS in Information Technology
- Bachelor of Elementary Education

What are the qualifications?
Before applying, interested applicants must make sure they meet the following qualifications:
- Must be an incoming freshman and a Grade 12 graduates from public and private schools in the areas covered or an Alternative Learning System (ALS) completer.
- Applicants must have completed Grade 10 in a public high school, or, if from a private high school, must possess a DepEd voucher.
- General weighted average grade of at least 92% or its equivalent for Grade 12 – 1st semester.
- Total household income of at most P250,000 per year.
What are the requirements?
Applicants need to submit their accomplished online application form together with the following documents:
- Accomplished online application form
- Parent’s or guardian’s latest Income Tax Return or proof of non-filing or certificate of indigency
- Parent’s or guardian’s cedula
- Grade 12 report card (1st semester)
- Birth certificate
- 2×2 ID picture
- Sketch of home to the nearest SM Mall
