GSIS announced that the scholarship program will begin accepting applications starting June 30, 2026.

- Incoming first-year college student
- Accepted in STEM course recognized by CHED
- Minimum GWA of 90% in Senior High School
- Priority given to applicants whose parents belong to Salary Grade 15 and below or have lower pension amounts
What are the Priority and Special Slots
Out of the 1,000 available slots per year:
- 200 slots are reserved for:
- Persons with disabilities (PWDs)
- Indigenous peoples (IPs)
- Children of solo parents

What is the Program Coverage and Duration
- The scholarship will continue for four academic years
- Total funding allocation is expected to reach ₱240 million by 2034
