How to Apply for the PHINMA Scholarship 2026

PHINMA Araullo University has officially opened the applications for the PHINMA Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2026 – 2027 for incoming first-year college students and continuing PHINMA AU students.

What is the PHINMA Scholarship?

The PHINMA Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership, and active involvement in school or community organizations. The scholarship is available at PHINMA Araullo University Main, South, and San Jose Campuses in Cabanatuan and San Jose.

Note: Slots are very limited. Applicants will be strictly screened based on academic achievements, leadership involvement, submitted requirements, and screening results.

What are the benefits of the scholarship?

Scholars under the PHINMA Scholarship Program will receive the following benefits:

  • 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees; and
  • P2,000 Monthly allowance during the semester;
  • Applicable to all programs.

What are the qualifications?

Before applying, make sure you meet the following eligibility criteria:

For incoming freshmen (Grade 12 students):

  • Must be a graduating Grade 12 student from any public or private high school; and
  • Must have a minimum General Weighted Average (GWA) of 85.

For continuing PHINMA AU students:

  • Must be a currently enrolled 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year student at PHINMA AU; and
  • Must have a minimum GWA of 2.0 with no grade lower than 2.25.

For all applicants:

  • Must be active in school or community organizations; and
  • Must pass the qualifying examination and panel interview.

What are the requirements?

Applicants must prepare all of the following documentary requirements before filling out the application form:

  1. Copy of Grades:
    • Grade 12 Most Recent Report Card (for incoming freshmen); or
    • Certificate of Grades for 1st or 2nd Semester SY 2025–2026 (for continuing PHINMA AU students).
  2. Recommendation Letter from an adviser of a school or community organization, including your position, notable contributions, adviser’s name, designation, and contact number. The letter should be addressed to PHINMA AU.
  3. List of Achievements or Awards from school or community involvement.
  4. Application Essay – a handwritten essay of maximum 500 words on the topic: “The Moment I Became More Than a Student: My Defining Leadership Experience.” Submit in JPEG format.
  5. Application Video – a maximum 2-minute video discussing the advocacies you support. Submit in MP4 format.

Note: Applications with missing, incomplete, or incorrect requirements will not be processed.

Application Period

The application deadline for the PHINMA Scholarship has been extended until May 15, 2026.
