What is the Pisay Scholarship?
The Pisay Scholarship is awarded through the National Competitive Examination (NCE), the entrance exam for admission into the DOST-Philippine Science High School System for incoming Grade 7 students.
With improved financial assistance and expanded learning support, Pisay scholars can focus on developing their potential in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Who can apply for the Pisay Scholarship?
According to PSHS’s published eligibility criteria, an applicant must:
- Be a Filipino citizen
- Be a Grade 6 student from a DepEd-recognized school (SY 2026-2027)
- Have a final grade of 85% or better in Science and Mathematics in their Grade 5 report card (SY 2025-2026), or belong to the top 10% of their batch
- Be 15 years old or below by June 30, 2027
- Have at least a satisfactory character rating
- Be in good health and fit for a rigorous academic program
- Have not previously applied for admission to PSHS

- Certification of Top 10%, if applicable
