Good news for students in Rizal! The Municipality of Cainta has opened online applications for the One Cainta Scholarship Program (College) for Academic Year 2026-2027.

What is the One Cainta Scholarship Program?
The One Cainta Scholarship Program aims to provide educational assistance to students who are bonafide residents of Cainta and are currently in the tertiary level of their education. The program is non-discriminatory and is open to any qualified individual regardless of gender, race, or religion.
Note: The Senior High School Scholarship Program is temporarily under review. However, the College Scholarship Program continues for deserving and hardworking students who wish to pursue higher education.
What are the qualifications?
Before applying, make sure you meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be a bonafide resident of Cainta; and
- Must be an existing college student or incoming college student for Academic Year 2026–2027.

What are the requirements?
Applicants must prepare clear scanned copies or photos of the following documentary requirements before filling out the application form:
- Latest School Registration Form;
- Latest receipt issued by the school or proof of payment (for State Universities, upload your registration form);
- Latest School ID or any government-issued ID;
- Latest Summary of Grades;
- Statement of Purpose; and
- Portfolio.

What are the criteria for the scholarship grant?
Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Statement of Purpose (30%) – A written document sharing your story, academic achievements, career goals, and why you are applying for the scholarship.
- Face-to-Face Qualifying Examination (40%) – Scholarship exams will be conducted in person on a weekly basis. All applicants will receive an email with their specific exam schedule. Failure to attend on your assigned schedule may result in disqualification.
- Portfolio (30%) – A collection of your achievements, skills, talents, and relevant experiences, which may include certificates of accomplishments, relevant projects or outputs, and extracurricular activities and community involvement.
