The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has officially opened the applications for the Scholarship Program for Future Statisticians (Estatistikolar) for Academic Year 2026-2027 for qualified Filipino college students nationwide.

CHED Estatistikolar Scholarship 2026
The CHED Scholarship Program for Future Statisticians (Estatistikolar) addresses the identified shortage of statisticians and data scientists in the Philippines and develops human capital for this field.
The scholarship is open to qualified students who are enrolled in BS in Statistics, BS in Applied Statistics, and other programs identified by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs), State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), or Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs).
What are the benefits of the scholarship?
For scholars enrolled in SUCs or LUCs:

What are the qualifications?
Before applying, make sure you meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Must be a Filipino citizen;
- Must be a graduate of a Senior High School in the Philippines with a minimum GWA of 85% or its equivalent; or
- For second-to fourth-year college students, must have a minimum GWA of 80% or its equivalent; and
- Combined annual gross income of parents or legal guardians must not exceed ₱500,000.
Note: Additional ranking points will be given to applicants belonging to special equity groups, including underprivileged and homeless citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), solo parents, senior citizens, indigenous peoples, and first-generation college students. Applicants from these groups must still meet the minimum qualification requirements.

What are the requirements?
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documentary requirements:
A. Required Documents:
- Accomplished Application Form;
- Copy of Birth Certificate issued by the PSA;
- For senior high school graduates – certified true copy of Form 138 or School Form 9 (SF9) duly signed by the registrar or an authorized representative; and
- For second-to fourth-year college students – certified true copy of grades from the last semester attended.
B. Financial Documents (any one of the following):
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents or legal guardian;
- Certificate of Tax Exemption or Non-Filer issued by the BIR;
- Certified true copy of latest contract or proof of income for children of OFWs and seafarers; or
- Social Case Study Report issued by the City or Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (C/MSWDO).
C. Other Supporting Documents (if applicable):
- PWD ID or Certification of Disability;
- Solo Parent ID of the applicant or parent;
- Senior Citizen ID;
- Certification from DHSUD or C/MSWDO for underprivileged and homeless families;
- Social Case Study Report for Magna Carta for the Poor or first-generation students;
- Certification from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP); or
- Notarized Certificate of Guardianship (if applicable).
